Solutions / RPA & Automation

Give every RPA bot the same governance you would give an AI agent.

RPA bots, the robotic process automation that clicks through your business systems, take real actions with standing credentials. Agentomy authorizes what each bot may do, records it, and halts the fleet, across any RPA platform or custom automation.

How Agentomy helps rpa & automation

01

Give bots scoped identities and limits

Every bot action is authorized against what that bot is allowed to do, so a bot cannot quietly reach a system or move data outside the scope you set, even when it runs on standing credentials.

02

No orphaned bots, no reused credentials

Discovery finds the bots running across your environment, and a decommissioned bot loses its access instead of keeping a live credential no one is watching.

03

One switch to stop the bot fleet

Halt every governed bot in under a twentieth of a second, confirmed, and the halt survives a restart, so a runaway loop or a scheduled job gone wrong stops now.

In practice

Plausible scenarios

Concrete ways an agent goes wrong here without governance, and the control that catches each one.

01

A bot loops and floods a system

An RPA bot hits an error and a retry loop keeps it hammering a downstream system far past any normal rate. Rate limits and authorization trip and the bot is quarantined, so a stuck job does not overwhelm the systems it touches or run up work no one approved.

02

A decommissioned bot keeps its access

A bot is retired but its credentials and system access are never revoked, the pattern where an orphaned bot quietly retained access to personal data. Discovery surfaces it and least-privilege holds it to nothing until an owner re-scopes it, so a forgotten bot is not a standing exposure.

03

A bot reaches a system it was never scoped for

A bot built for one task starts touching records in another system, moving laterally on a shared service account. Authorization confines it to exactly the systems its job requires and logs the attempt, instead of a broad credential letting it wander.

04

A bot runs outside its window

A bot fires outside its approved schedule or spawns extra unattended runs no one authorized. Schedule and authorization checks refuse the off-window action and record it, so automation runs when and where it was meant to.

05

Halt the bot fleet in an incident

A suspected malfunction means every bot must stop now. One switch halts the entire governed fleet in under a twentieth of a second, confirmed, and the halt holds through a restart. Control stays with operations.
